Currently under development, the state-of-the-art Ulsan-Class (FFX) Batch-IIII Combat System is designed for the next capital ship of the Korean naval fleet — frigates.

The system is capable of warfare operations under all-weather conditions, and its multi-function phased array radar will enable simultaneous detection and tracking of targets and enhance ship weapon systems' capability to engage enemy targets simultaneously.

By developing the next generation combat management system architecture using virtualization, technologies to establish TSCE (Total Ship Computing Environment) is also expected to be acquired.
