The K2 Main Battle Tank is the world's top-class Korean indigenous main battle tank aiming for domination of the future ground combat environment.

The K2 has outstanding performances of mobility, firepower and survivability due to application of the state-of-the-art technologies such as 120mm 55-caliber length smoothbore gun and ammunition, automatic target detection and tracking system, controllable hydropneumatic suspension system, active defense system, Identification of Friend or Foe (IFF) system, inter-vehicular data communication system, and battle management system interoperable with C4I(Command, Control, Communication, Computer and Intelligence) systems.
