Unmanned Serveillance Vehicle
Unmanned Surveillance Vehicle
The Unmanned Surveillance Vehicle (USV) is the first unmanned ground combat system developed by the Republic of Korea. A system of USV consists of a Command and Control Vehicle (C2V) and two Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV).
Under a remote control and autonomous navigation system, UGVs are capable of executing various missions such as long-range day and night surveillance, Identification of Friend or Foe (IFF) and mine detection during reconnaissance patrols for armored mechanized units.
The deployment of USVs will reinforce armored mechanized units with its enhanced night surveillance/ reconnaissance capabilities, long and wide range communication via UAV communication relay, and stealth maneuvering using hybrid power train.
