The Chemical and Biological Detection Systems
Chemical and Biological Detection Systems
The newly developed K-NBC reconnaissance vehicles are capable of detecting and identifying chemical and biological warfare agents in real-time. Designed to be mounted on vehicles, ADD developed multiple chemical and biological warfare agent detection systems such as SCADS (Stand-off Chemical Agent Detection System), BTDS (Biological Agent and Toxin Detection System), and CBMS (Chemical Biological Mass Spectrometry).
SCADS is capable of providing early detection and warning of chemical clouds within 5kms and CBMS is able to analyze and monitor both chemical and biological warfare agents in real-time.
