The state-of-the-art Jangbogo-III Class (KSS-III) Batch-I Combat System is designed as the core system of Jangbogo-III Class (KSS-III) Batch-I submarines. The system integrates acoustic and nonacoustic sensors, communication and navigation systems, and weapon systems enabling long-range strategic target strikes and effective engagement against enemy surface ships and submarines.

Based on open architecture and international standard technologies, the automated and fully integrated combat system's internal systems are interconnected using redundant system networks to improve survivability and reliability.
