The cutting-edge Sight System for K2 MBT is an electro-optical and infrared equipment mounted on combat vehicles — such as main battle tanks or armored vehicles — to observe, detect & track targets, measure their distances, and calculate neccessary fire control information.

The Sight System is composed of optical equipment for day-time (or a TV camera), a thermal sight, a laser range finder (LRF), and a stabilizer that provides a 'stabilized line-of-sight' during maneuvers.

Automatic detection and tracking, high-resolution image acquisition and high-precision stabilization technologies have been applied to enhance target detection and identification.
