Joint Tactical Data Link System(JTDLS)

The Joint Tactical Data Link System (JTDLS) is a tactical communications system that shares real-time situational awareness and Command & Control information between sensors, shooters, and C2 systems, thus supporting joint operations.

The JTDLS interconnects strategic and tactical systems effectively using satellite, wireless, and wired networks. All units including fighters, ships, and land units, stationary or mobile, are able to share theater information.
