Biomimetic Robot is a robot with an engineering system based on structures, mechanism, and behaviors found in various living organisms.

Up to now, Biomimetic Robots have been studied to simulate the motional characteristics of insects, fish, reptiles, and quadrupeds. Studies related to simulating organisms' sense organs, ways of communication, and behavioral controls are in progress.
